Goals
In general, we select 1-3 coaches, 4-6 females, 6-8 teams, and 6-10 males each year for induction into the Hall of Fame. It is a sports and activities Hall of Fame and is intended to be inclusive of all aspects that represent Dayton High School including sports, Speech, music, band, etc… The first goal of the Hall of Fame is to recognize and honor great individuals and teams who have brought fame to Dayton High School. The second goal is to make it as meaningful and credible as possible using highly knowledgeable committee members as well as former and current coaches and great players for input. The third goal is to foster pride, scholarship, citizenship and sportsmanship in our community and school.
